As a master herbalist, Rina taught her daughter much about medicinal herbs and poisons.
They subsequently settled down in the village and had one daughter together, Ursa. As she grew up, she met and later married Jinzuk, who became a magistrate of Hira'a. Rina was the daughter of Avatar Roku and his wife, Ta Min.
